Back to School Awareness
As we get ready to send our kids back to school, we’d like to remind you to keep an eye out for our kids.
Throughout August, we’re partnering with KidsandCars.org to help promote child safety and awareness.
Every year, thousands of children are killed or seriously injured because a driver backing up didn’t see them.
A backover incident typically occurs when a car is backing out of a driveway or parking space. Tragically, in over 70% of these incidents, a parent or close relative is behind the wheel.
As we prepare to send our kids back to school, please be additionally aware. The smallest people are often the most difficult to notice.
To help spread awareness, our office is accepting donations to KidsAndCars.org. Making a donation will get you entered into a drawing for a free Sonicare Toothbrush and Free Fluoride for a year.
KidsAndCars.org (KAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing injuries and death to children in and around motor vehicles.
They have been providing children with a much needed voice with parents, caregivers, and legislators since 1996.
